Rhynie Bowling Tournament

Like every year,  the Rhynie bowling tournament was a great success, the worthy winners were Mark Rodgers and Colin Finlayson from Rothiemay they beat a strong Rothes team. A rhynie team consisting of part timer Paul Stewart and Andy Hunter reached the semi finals along with a banff team of M+C Taylor. The tournament would not have been made possible without the support of everybody from the village and surrounding areas who came and watched the high standard of bowling. The tournament relied on the commitment of rhynie bowlers who baked, set out carpets, done the draw and donated raffles because without these people helping out on their weekend the tournament would not have been possible. There was also a great support from our sponsors. Thanks to all who contributed to such an enjoyable tournament and we hope for the same again next year.
