First Round of Banffshire Association Matches (results) 20th and 21st October

2 out of 5 Rhynie representatives made it through to the second round of the Banffshire association ties:

Ally Hay was competing in the mens section of the Banffshire Association. Ally came up against strong opposition from Aberchirder and after a close game he was beaten only by a few shots.

Olive Forbes was competing in the ladies section of the Banffshire Association. Olive again came up against strong opposition from the Linden Centre and after yet another close game she was only beaten by a few shots.

Nora Muirden and Jock Shanks were competing in the mixed pairs section of the Banffshire Association. After yet another close game the pair were defeated by a strong team from keith.

Ian Howie, Forbes Leslie and Andy Hunter were represting the club in the triples section of the Banffshire Association. After an extremely close game the trio deservedly came out on top against a strong team from Aberchirder.

Margaret Young and Brian Stewart were representing Rhynie in the pairs section of the Banffshire Association. Rhynie came up against a strong team from the Linden Centre and won narrowly by two shots.
