April Meeting

President Mrs Kate Hunter welcomed members to our business meeting. Largue WRI entertained us with a comedy sketch, a recipe for cheese, corn & bacon muffins and a quiz and memory game while two of their members counted the votes for the new committee.
The new committee was elected as follows: President Mrs Kate Hunter, Vice President Mrs Catherine Merchant, Secretary Mrs Irene Walker, Treasurer Mrs Jan Lythgoe, Press Secretary Mrs Debbie Hunter, Magazine Secretary Mrs Margaret Young, Points Secretaries Miss Mary Duncan and Mrs Phyllis Beverly, Committee Mrs Lorna Smith and Mrs Julie Duncan.
Competition Winners
Pretty Tray - 1st Margaret Young, 2nd Catherine Merchant, 3rd Ruby Crawford
Jar of Chutney - 1st Margaret Reid, 2nd Olive Forbes, 3rd Irene Walker
The rosebowl for most competition points was won by Lorna Smith and the Nancy Thorburn Quaich for Endeavour was won by Jan Lythgoe.
Hostesses for the evening were Olive Forbes and Janet Robinson.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Kate Hunter.
